What is a Responsible Breeder

The word "Breeder" covers a wide range of activities.
Technically, it means the person who mates the dogs and
whelps the litter. I think the title "Responsible Breeder" is
more appropriate for those of us who make every effort to
ensure the health, breed type, socialization and lifetime
placement of every  Puppy our first priority. Our puppies
are brought into this world with every possible care & they
are only here due to our actions; therefore they are our
responsibility & we do not take that lightly.
Whoever said, "It takes a village to raise a child," was right.....the same
theory applies to raising quality young  Canines and Equines  . There are so
many people that help Me  in  My goal of breeding and raising   Top Quality,
Highly Socialized animals be they Canine or Equine  and  I  couldn't do it
without them. Many of them work behind the scenes and we want to
recognize And thank them for their tireless efforts.   Athena for her Natural
Intuitiveness with all animals, her calm and Zen like approach to all  Horses
and dogs   Nick, for Always remaining  calm under pressure be it an
emergency c-section or a foal who is taking a long time to be born., Also
Never complaining when I bring the newest potential "star" home.  Sean for
his interest in Animal pack dynamics and his  commanding  yet kind way with
the dogs , Samantha for always  Petting and cuddling  then posing with the
animals  & putting up with my endless  picture taking ,  Steve for his
web-site expertise, and Lochlan for always being ready and willing to socialize
and Love the puppies And foals  that we bring into this world.  Also a Thank

have a tough question .   Thank you all so Much For the time and care you
put into helping me raise  These Very Special Animals.... Jacquie
